Nov.2-Liam's Latest Cover Version
Oasis wildman wipes out Patsy tattoo
LIAM Gallagher has erased his estranged wife Patsy Kensit from his life by getting a new tattoo to cover up her name.
The Oasis singer bowed to pressure from his latest girlfriend - All Saints beauty Nicole Appleton - who persuded him to remove the word Patsy from his right arm.
But instead of enduring painful laser surgery, as she had suggested, Liam went one better.
He made a second trip to a London tattoo shop and covered Patsy's name with a huge drawing complete with the initials TCB and a lightning bolt.
The letters stand for Taking Care of Business, which was used by Elvis Presley and his Memphis mafia clan. He likes the TCB logo so much he's been spotted with a badge of it on his denim jacket.
The words Faith and Spirit can also clearly be seen within a circular universe and stars.
Liam couldn't resist showing his pal - Scots reggae star Finley Quaye- his brave move as the pair enjoyed a drink at London's Park Lane hotel.
Quaye was given a sneak glimpse as Tuesday's Q awards wound up.
Liam, who had been heckling Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue, took a quiet moment to tell Finley: "It's mega. It's bigger and it's better than that other one."
Photographer Sue Moore revealed: "Liam just pulled down his jacket to show Finley the tattoo. Both were enjoying a drink together and Liam had calmed down after some nonsense during the show."
When the moody singer got the original Patsy tattoo in 1997, he had to hold her hand to get over the pain, London's tattoo artist to the stars Lal Hardy revealed.
He said: "I didn't do the new one but I did get to see it. It completely covers up Patsy's name so in that respect it has been very successful.
"When he came in and asked to have Patsy's name etched on his arm, we tried to tell him he might want to change it but he wouldn't listen. When you're in love, you're in love."
Last night, an Oasis source said: Liam's glad he got it done and Nicole's pretty chuffed, too."
Last night, bookmakers William Hill made Robbie 1-2 favourite to come out tops in a fight with Liam at 6-4.
With Liam now dating Robbie's former fiancee Nicole, the heat is on.
A William Hill spokesman said: "Robbie's challenge at the Brit Awards in March to a pounds 200,000 boxing fight might just be sooner than we think." (Scotland Daily Record)

Nov.1-Oasis Back On Road
BATTLING brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher have patched up their differences and are to tour the UK with Oasis, AAA can reveal.
Noel walked out on the band's world tour earlier this year after Liam slated his family.
But the band are once again united and will officially announce the tour on Monday.
Speaking exclusively to AAA, Noel said: "We are all back in the studio and have been recording demos but after this live album I can't tell you what we will be doing for sure.
"We're going to do a new record but I don't know when.
"And we are going to do some live gigs next year which will be announ-ced on Monday.
"We will be touring the UK. If you want to know where, you'll have to wait and see." (Megastar)

Nov.1-Noel's Love for Scots' PR Girl Sara
NOEL Gallagher turned up alone at the Q awards.
But he soon hooked up with his Scottish girlfriend, Sara MacDonald, who was working on behalf of sponsors Orange.
The Oasis guitarist pointed to Sara and said: "I'm fed up with everybody fighting and arguing. I like everybody here and I love you." Blushing beauty Sara replied: "Noel's right, I love him too."
She added: "I'm really pleased he said that. We've just had a great holiday together in New York.
"We're both working here, I'm doing my PR job and he's picking up an award but it's great to be together." (Scotland Daily Record)

Liam gets over friendly with the press at the Q awards

Nov.1-Q Are You Looking At?
LIAM GALLAGHER'S feud with Robbie Williams exploded into life again yesterday at the Q Awards.
Robbie left the bash after just an hour following a tirade of abuse from Liam, who is dating his ex-fiancee, All Saints' Nicole Appleton.
The pair were sat 20 yards apart at the bash at London's Park Lane Hotel and exchanged stern glances throughout the awards.
Liam, who later playfully JUMPED on a photographer, publicly heckled Robbie as he took the stage to receive the Classic Songwriter award with pal Guy Chambers.
The Oasis singer booed and shouted: "Get your f***ing hair cut." Robbie refused to be drawn, saying only: "I'm going to keep my gob shut."
Liam told me: "I think Robbie's a queer. He was three tables away from me and he was eyeing me up. I'll f***ing have him."
As he left, Robbie told me: "I just don't want to get involved."
The feud erupted earlier this year when Liam's brother Noel branded Robbie a "fat dancer from Take That." Robbie replied with a wreath saying "Heard the latest Oasis album, RIP."
At the Brit Awards in March, Robbie asked the audience: "Would you like to see me fight Liam?"
Robbie wasn't the only target of abuse for Liam.
He yelled at host Davina McCall, who was wearing a daring plunging dress: "Get your t*** out."
Then he screamed at Kylie Minogue: "Get your t*** out too, you lesbian, and write your own songs for a change."
As Alex James gave an award to Clash frontman Joe Strummer, Liam shouted at the Blur star: "Oi fat boy, you fat b******."
I fell victim to the Gallagher boys too. When it was announced I had judged the best producer category, Noel took to the stage and said: "How can anyone let Dominic Mohan be on a voting panel?"
Later, Liam ripped off my tie and tried to pull off my trousers screaming: "I want to see you naked."
I can reveal Oasis will be playing a series of dates in South America including the famous Rocking Rio Festival in January alongside reformed rockers Guns 'N Roses. Oasis will also perform in Venezuela with REM and in Buenos Aires with Neil Young. (The Sun)

Robbie Williams

Nov.1-"You're Queer"
WILDMAN rocker Liam Gallagher almost made Robbie Williams cry yesterday - by accusing him of being GAY.
The Rock DJ megastar stormed out of the Q Awards after the blast by the Oasis singer.
Liam taunted and heckled him in an outrageous development of their longrunning feud before mouthing off: "The Q stands for queer - because that's what he is."
Shaken Robbie was close to tears as he left, muttering: "That's f***ing out of order."
But Liam - now the lover of Robbie's ex-fiancee Nicole Appleton - hadn't finished.
He also targeted Kylie Minogue, with whom Robbie duets on his latest single Kids, by labelling her a "lesbian" in another savage attack.
Minutes earlier, he'd shouted out for her to show her breasts.
And the tiny Aussie was also clearly upset as she followed Robbie's lead by walking out shortly afterwards.
The presentation ceremony was only halfway through when Liam escalated the war with Robbie that ignited at the Brit Awards in March. Then Robbie challenged absent Liam to a boxing match - which was declined after some verbal sparring.
But when the pair came face-to-face for the first time this year at London's Park Lane Hotel, Liam tore into Robbie.
And he ranted later: "I don't dislike him or hate him. I just think he's rubbish."
Organisers had been desperate to keep the dynamite duo apart. But there was nothing they could do when Liam and singer-songwriter brother Noel went up to collect their award for Best Live Act.
Looking straight at Robbie, who was sitting just yards from the stage, Liam shouted: "This one is for Robbie as usual. Here stands the letter Q."
And, speaking to the Daily Star afterwards, Liam explained: "The Q stands for queer - because that's what he is. I reckon he's been told to leave the building by his people 'cos I'm gonna knock him out."
Referring to an Access All Areas article in July - when Robbie jokingly said he wanted sexual relations with Liam - he added: "The guy says he's going to give me brown love.
"I don't take brown love from anyone.
"He deserved the Q Awards for queer".
The intensity of Liam's jibes has increased since he started going out with All Saint Nicole in the summer.
He said: "I've heard Robbie's been mouthing off about me when I'm not around. But when he's sitting in the same room he shuts his mouth. It just goes to show who is the soft lad.
"And, at the end of the day, when someone starts slagging off my wife - I mean my girlfriend - I'm going to knock their f***ing head off.
"I repeat, if he slags my band off, he slags my girlfriend off or he slags my brother off, I'll have him."
Liam, 27, just as quickly dismissed the chances of the rivals bumping into each other again for a repeat rollicking because they drink in different places.
Liam said: "I don't go to his kind of bars. I go to pubs. Real pubs with my boys."
But Robbie was long gone and the further tirade was wasted on him.
His walk-out came just minutes after he and fellow-songwriter Guy Chambers collected the Q Classic Songwriter gong. The 25-year-old former Take That star had been told to keep out of the feud by his management and delivered a downbeat acceptance speech, saying simply: "I'm going to keep my gob shut."
But the last straw came when Liam shouted his abuse at former Neighbours star Kylie.
As soon as she stood up to give Travis their Best Act In The World award, the Manchester-born millionaire also rose to his feet and yelled that she should get out her boobs for the crowd.
Guests broke into embarrassed laughter when, from the back of the hall, he then shouted, "Lesbian" as she embraced the show's hostess and former Big Brother presenter Davina McCall.
Davina, who was dressed in a very revealing Antonia Barmadi evening dress which had drawn gasps and applause from the audience, escaped Liam's vitriol.
But it was at that point that Robbie, surrounded by burly minders, stood up and stormed out close to tears.
His "f***ing out of order" parting comment was all he would say before he was whisked away by his entourage.
As Kylie was escorted out, though, she was eager to make her feelings plain. She slammed Liam's claims that Robbie is gay by snapping: "If that's what you get just for hugging a bloke, then f*** it."
And she warmed to her theme by adding: "If being called a lesbian for embracing another woman on stage is what Gallagher is all about, then sod it."
Liam wasn't concerned. By then he was playfully grappling with various journalists and photographers, punching one in the chest and even suggesting to another that he'd like to sleep with them.
Meanwhile, brother Noel, who was at the awards with his new girlfriend Sara Macdonald, opted to stay out of the war.
He said: "Liam's in fine form but it's nothing to do with me. I think it's just funny. Last time he came to one of these things he was arrested.
"Luckily he's got a clean suit in the boot of his car in case there's a court appearance to be made in the morning."

Oct.31-Oasis "We Are The Best Live Band In The World!"
Oasis' frontman Liam Gallagher wasn't at all shocked about winning an award for best live act today (Tuesday October 31st) at the Q Awards in London's swanky Park Lane Hotel.
dotmusic spoke to the singer immediately after the ceremony, and with his usual modesty he declared: "The award is nice because we are the best live band and we are the best in the world as far as I'm concerned. After a bad year we still pulled it off."
When asked if he was surprised that Oasis won, especially since the band's world tour this year had taken some treacherous turns. He told us: "No I'm not. The Q Awards is for English people innit, and we are the best band in the f***in' country mate I think, even after all that shit.
"If there were any faults then it's because of the tour that had gone before it. Playing to English people we were great man. I was a bit of a knob on the Saturday night at Wembley but never mind we'll get over it."
Liam was referring to the show at Wembley Stadium back in July when he turned up drunk, swore a lot and was generally quite abusive. Do you have any regrets about that? "No I don't because that is rock'n'roll mate," came Liam's reply. "Well, it is to me anyway."
His brother Noel was a little more modest about this particular Oasis' triumph. When dotmusic asked about the best live act gong he said: "It doesn't fill me with any great sense of pride I have to say, because it doesn't make you a better live band or anything, just getting an award for it.
"It's voted for by the kids, we appreciate it and it's nice to win something after going for nearly ten years. So it's cool."
The songwriter gave the game away when asked whether or not he was surprised. "Well they told us last week before we came," revealed Noel. "So it wasn't that much of a surprise, I have to say."
During the ceremony Liam continued his debacle with Robbie Williams, who picked up an award for classic songwriter with his writing partner Guy Chambers, and was true to form by heckling throughout the bash.
When he took to the stage he held up the award and announced: "This one's for Robbie as well, who stands for the letter Q." Robbie made it clear that he didn't want to join in the now months old saga. Looking tired and fed up he simply said: "I'm just gonna keep my gob shut." (dotmusic)

Liam arrives at the Q awards.

Oct.31-Liam Gallagher Dependably Rowdy at Awards Show
LIAM GALLAGHER has re-ignited his feud with ROBBIE WILLIAMS at the Q Awards ceremony in central London.
With the two singers having conducted a very public slanging match in recent months - including Liam calling Robbie a "fat dancer" and Robbie challenging the Oasis singer to a charity boxing match - there were fears that there would be fireworks when the duo shared the spotlight at the magazine's annual awards ceremony, held at the Park Lane Hotel in London on Tuesday (October 31).
Before the stars arrived for the ceremony there were rumours that Williams was concerned about meeting Gallagher, particularly since the Oasis star is now dating Williams' former fiancee, All Saints star Nicole Appleton, who was expected to attend the awards with Gallagher. While Appleton did not in fact show up for the awards, as the ceremony unfolded it became increasingly clear that Gallagher was indeed intent upon winding up his pop rival.
Gallagher got in his first dig at Williams while accepting Oasis' award for 'Best Live Act', sarcastically noting "This one's for Robbie."
When Williams' 'Rock DJ' was aired at a later point in the ceremony, Gallagher mockingly led the applause, and when the pop star walked to the stage to pick up his 'Best Songwriter' award (together with his creative partner Guy Chambers), he was reportedly looking furious at the barrage of heckles being directed towards him from the Oasis table. And in his acceptance speech, an uncharacteristically tight-lipped Williams merely said "I'm just gonna keep me gob shut."
Williams exited the ceremony before it finished, again under intense heckling from the Oasis party. The singer left after Liam Gallagher had heckled his pop chum Kylie Minogue with shouts of "Let's see your tits."
Clearly not satisfied with stirring up trouble with just one pop rival, Gallagher then turned his attention to Alex James, bassist with Oasis' old rivals Blur, who was in attendance to present former Clash frontman Joe Strummer with the 'Inspiration' award.
As James walked up to the podium to present the award, he was abused with shouts of "Fat Boy" from Gallagher. And when James tried to talk about Strummer's contribution to punk rock, Gallagher howled "what do you know about punk?"

Oct.31-Oh Brother! Oasis Dominate Awards Ceremony
OASIS, ROBBIE WILLIAMS, TRAVIS, COLDPLAY and KELIS are among the winners at this year's Q AWARDS, which were held at the PARK LANE HOTEL, PICCADILLY in LONDON this afternoon (October 31).
All of Oasis were present, and heckled throughout the ceremony, taking a particularly snide swipe at Robbie Williams.
When the band took the stage to accept their gong for Best Live Act, Liam Gallagher said: "This one's for Robbie as well, who stands for the letter 'Q'," while Noel took the opportunity to bite back at Sun newspaper columnist Dominic Mohan saying: "If anybody can tell me why Dominic Mohan is on a panel judging anything, then tell me."
He later made a point of clapping loudly and ironically long after the audience had stopped, and jeering throughout when Robbie and his songwriting partner Guy Chambers stepped up to receive their joint award for Classic Songwriter, presented by David Arnold. Chambers commented: "I want to thank Robbie for being the best writing partner that anyone could hope to work with." Robbie himself, looking extremely pissed off, commented: "I'm just going to keep my gob shut." He was ushered out of the Awards Ceremony immediately afterwards, surrounded by bodyguards who brushed off any attempts to speak to him.
The Oasis camp also seized the opportunity to have a go at Blur's Alex James, who presented the Inspiration Award to Joe Strummer, shouting "fatboy" when he appeared on stage. Noel also persistently shouted "Oasis" when the Best Act In The World category - won by Travis - was announced. Kylie Minogue, who presented the award, also came in for heckling, with Keith Allen shouting "show us your tits".
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin made fun of the Robbie and Liam spat, parodying their "Hundred grand of your money, hundred grand of my money, outside..." feud at The Brit Awards, joking: "Badly Drawn Boy - 20 quid of your money, 20 quid of our money, outside!" when the band were presented with their Best Album gong for 'Parachutes'.
For his part, Damon Gough gave his usual extended monologue as he accepted the Best New Act award, having marched to the stage with both arms held aloft. He commented: "This is all getting a bit embarrassing. But I'd rather have been nominated for the Best Live Act In The World Today... because I think I am."
Travis frontman Fran Healy, who was joined by Andy Dunlop, Neil Primrose and Dougie Payne to pick up the Best Act In The World accolade, quipped: "It's like getting voted the best shagger in the world of the year!" Dougie replied: "Well that's just not true! It's preposterous!" He added: "It's like getting a big pair of shoes to grow into. Thanks to Oasis, who were best support of the year."
The winners are:
Best Single - David Gray 'Babylon' (presented by Finley Quaye)
Best Live Act - Oasis (presented by Peter Hook and Gillian Gilbert of New Order)
Best Video - Kelis 'Caught Out There' (presented by Roni Size)
Best New Act - Badly Drawn Boy (presented by Tim Booth)
Classic Songwriter Award - Robbie Williams and Guy Chambers (presented by David Arnold)
Best Producer - Artful Dodger for 'Re-Rewind' (presented by Richard Blackwood)
Best Album - Coldplay 'Parachutes' (presented by Chris Bart Williams)
Best Act In The World Today - Travis (presented by Kylie Minogue)
Merit Award - The Specials, accepted by Jerry Dammers (presented by Cerys Matthews)
Inspiration Award - Joe Strummer (presented by Alex James)

Oct.31-Oasis Show Up To Support Tailgunner
NOEL GALLAGHER, ANDY BELL and GEM ARCHER caused chaos at a TAILGUNNER show in OXFORD last night (30 October) by arriving at the venue unannounced and prompting rumours of an impromptu OASIS show.
The three members of Oasis turned up to see Tailgunner, the band fronted by Gallagher's "best mate" and 'Definitely Maybe' producer Mark Coyle at their show at the Oxford Bullingdon Arms.
One fan who was at the gig told NME.COM: "Noel sat in the pub for two hours before the gig, near the window, and within half an hour the gig had sold out.
"Word got around Oxford that he was going to be at the show pretty quickly, and before long they were all under siege with fans looking for autographs. Others thought that Oasis were the support band."
A much touted live appearance from Gallagher with Tailgunner also proved to be unfounded. Gallagher plays drums on the eponymous Tailgunner album, which was released on September 16 through No Label.
Instead, Gallagher spent the entire evening fending off autograph hunters, watching the show, which culminated with Coyle demolishing his equipment by setting fire to his guitar.
Tailgunner continue their UK tour on Thursday (November 2) at the Milton Keynes Woughton Centre, before playing Weymouth Verdis (3) and Turnbridge Wells Forum (4). (nme.com)

Oct.31-Robbie Is Gonna Get Q!
WOULD you please clear the dance floor for the fighting! Robbie Williams is set to come face to face with enemies Liam and Noel Gallagher at today's Q Awards.
Liam, who has had a war of words with Robbie, will stir up ill-feeling by showing off new love Nicole Appleton.
The All Saints babe, you will recall, is Robbie's former fiancee.
And if the Oasis boys are not content with one enemy over the lunch table at London's Park Lane Hotel, there's always a reserve.
Long-time Blur rival Damon Albarn will also be at the bash.

Oct.29-Mega Bucks
Oasis wife demands huge cash deal after star finds new love She wants HALF of hubby Noel's pounds 25m fortune
THE wife of Oasis star Noel Gallagher is demanding HALF his pounds 25million fortune in a sensational divorce battle, the Sunday People can reveal.
Friends say Meg Mathews will take him "to the cleaners" - because she's convinced he cheated on her while they were STILL together.
And she laughed in his face when he initially offered her a pounds 100,000 pay-off - and angrily dismissed his pounds 500,000 second offer. Lawyers have also told Meg to forget about her original pre-nuptial agreement with Noel amid allegations over his affair with PR girl Sara MacDonald.
A close friend revealed: "After three years of marriage and being so close and in love, Meg really thought that Noel might want to have some time alone to reflect on what has been going on.
"The last thing she expected during such a difficult period was that he would have another woman in tow.
"Meg never had any idea that Noel was friendly with Sara. The first thing she knew about it was when she picked up the paper and read about it - it completely devastated her.
"Then she began to believe he must have been seeing her while they were still together."
The last straw for Meg - the mother of Noel's seven-month-old daughter Anais and the inspiration behind the Oasis mega-hit Wonderwall - came when she discovered Noel was spending more than pounds 50,000 on a luxury New York break for Sara's 30th birthday.
Meg stunned security guards when she stormed into London's Air Studios and screamed at the Oasis songwriter: "How long has this been going on?" But Noel said they were just good friends and that was the end of it.
When Meg split with him in September, he immediately offered her the pounds 100,000 promised under their pre-nuptial deal but increased it to pounds 500,000 if she agreed to custody demands over Anais.
But Meg's legal team have advised her she has a "water- tight case" against him and should go for broke. Meg claims Noel and Sara were dating for more than THREE months before the marriage break-up. Her friend added: "Meg is furious and says she has been betrayed by Noel. She feels she is entitled to half of his money because she was with him from the start. Meg put 100 per cent and more into the band and into Noel."
Friends of Sara, who bears a remarkable similarity to Meg, say she met Noel on the sunshine isle of Ibiza, where he has a pounds 1.5million home.
Earlier this month, Sara admitted they were together. She said: "Noel's had a hard year and it's been difficult for him but we get on very well and he seems happier. There have been problems with the band and his marriage and I think I've helped him. But we never talk about Meg."
Noel, who says he has turned his back on drugs, blames the split on Meg's love of partying and not being home enough.

Oct.27-Hacienda Chopped Up and Shipped Out
The infamous Manchester nightclub THE HACIENDA is to be demolished towards the end of this year and the everything inside, from DJ booths to toilet cubicle doors are being put up for auction on November 25th. The venue, part-owned by New Order, helped kick-start the Manchester scene in the mid- to late-1980s and has played host to the likes of Madonna, U2, and The Stone Roses, but struggled against a tide of gangsterism and drugs prior to its closure in 1997.
The interior was designed by design team BKD, owned by Ben Kelly who helped shape the look of the punk scene ten years before, and the original striped steel pillars, bars and DJ booths he designed are among the lots going under the hammer from 12 noon at the Richard Conrad Building. You can also purchase square metres of dancefloor, mounted on timber no less, and light fittings, electrical components and, most excitingly, handprints and signatures of Peter Hook and Factory Records founder Anthony H Wilson. Viewings will be from 10am.
A film about the life and times of Factory Records, of which the Hacienda was a crucial part, is to commence production in January, with comedian Steve Coogan lined up to play Wilson. (music365)

Oct.27-New Oasis Love Split
THE curse of Oasis has struck again - drummer Alan White has split from wife Liz Atkins.
I can reveal he has moved out of the couple's home after a string of rows.
It is the THIRD Oasis marriage to fall apart in months, following Noel Gallagher's split from Meg Mathews and brother Liam's break-up with Patsy Kensit.
A band insider told me: "Alan and Liz just decided they were not right together.
"Everyone reckons there must be a curse on Oasis. First the band comes close to splitting up, then everyone's marriages break down.
"It is incredible that these relationships have all split in the space of a few months. Everyone has been under a lot of pressure recently."
A spokesman for the band said: "It's really sad. They were a lovely couple. Bad news seems to come in threes."
The couple met when U.S. model Liz worked on the video for Don't Look Back In Anger.
They married a year later in August 1997 - two months after Noel's marriage, four months after Liam's - and set up home in London's Blackheath. Oasis have endured an appalling year. In May, Noel walked out during the band's European tour.
Then, in July, Liam and Patsy split. The Oasis frontman told me: "It's finished, over, gone. Maybe I was too young, but I don't think I'll be marrying again."
Just two months later Noel and Meg also separated. The couple said they had simply "drifted apart."
The two other band members, rhythm guitarist Colin "Gem" Archer and bassist Andy Bell, are both married. Fingers crossed the curse does not hit them. (The Sun)

Oct.27-Nic and Liam Play House
NICOLE Appleton and Liam Gallagher are already living like man and wife - despite reports she's refused to tie the knot.
The All Saints singer is rooted in his Hamstead home, knows his neighbours and answers his door to fans.
One chilly autograph-hunter was even invited inside as she explained: "Liam's in the shower".
The stunned fan said: "She treated the place like her own home and seemed relaxed and happy."
Until recently Nicole has lived with her bandmate and sister Natalie in nearby Primrose Hill. (Scotland Daily Record)

Oct.25-Clint Gets His '...Kicks' From Noel
CLINT BOON has revealed how an aeroplane adventure with NOEL GALLAGHER was the inspiration behind one of the tracks from his forthcoming new album 'LIFE IN TRANSITION', due out in November through ARTFUL.
The song 'Kids Get Kicks' was written about a time when Noel was a roadie for Boon's old band Inspiral Carpets and the two paid a visit to a plane's baby changing facility to commit an illicit act.
Speaking to NME.COM, Boon said: "I've never been much of a culprit doing naughty things on planes but some of my mates have in the past, between Noel Gallagher, Mark Coyle and Ian Brown.
"The only thing I can say about Noel is that he introduced me to another use for the baby changing tables. It wasn't anything sexual but it was to do with something else...
"In 'Kids Get Kicks' there's a line , which is a line inspired by my former roadie."
Boon's new album is something of a family affair, featuring vocals from his daughter Harley, his wife Meg and with a cover shot of his son.
For the full story on Clint Boon's forthcoming album, see this week's NME, out nationwide today (October 25). (nme.com)

Sara and Noel arrive back in London from New York

Oct.24-It's love: definitely maybe
Oasis star Noel Gallagher arrives back in London today after spending a weekend in New York with his girlfriend, 29-year-old Sara MacDonald.
The couple, who met at the Ibiza nightclub Manumission where Miss MacDonald was working, flew into Heathrow.
It recently emerged they have been dating for several months following Gallagher's separation from his wife Meg Mathews.
Miss MacDonald has said she and Gallagher are keen to be photographed together in public - and now they have. (This is London)

Sara and Noel at Heathrow, en route to New York

Oct.22-Dough-asis!
Meg's fury as Noel splashes pounds 50,000 on new girl Sara
NOEL GALLAGHER is splashing out pounds 50,000 to help celebrate new love SARA MacDONALD'S 30th birthday - much to the fury of estranged wife MEG MATHEWS.
The Oasis songwriter is not known as the romantic type. But he is really pushing out the boat for PR girl Sara.
SKY'S THE LIMIT! He paid pounds 13,000 for first-class return air tickets from London Heathrow to New York, where they are spending this weekend.
LOADSAMONEY! Noel, 33, booked the Presidential suite at the Four Seasons Hotel - costing pounds 6,300 a night - and told staff to deck it out with red roses ready for Sara's arrival.
SUPERNOVA! He is hitting the plastic by taking her shopping at all the top stores.
Altogether, he boasted to pals, the birthday bill will reach a massive pounds 50,000. One friend said: "I think everyone's been surprised by how quickly Noel has fallen for Sara.
"And this romantic trip really shows that he wants to make her happy.
"If that has upset Meg, I don't think he will be too bothered."
Jealous Meg - in Los Angeles with daughter ANAIS - told pals after she heard the news: "He never did anything that romantic for me.
"I would love to have been treated like that on my birthday."
Some even reckon that Meg is now keen to try for a reunion.
As she said significantly: "Don't forget, I'm still Mrs Gallagher." (Sunday People)

Oct.21-Martha Stewart Gives Noel A Lift
MARTHA Stewart rescued Noel Gallagher yesterday. The doyenne of domesticity was driving past the Four Seasons Hotel when she spotted paparazzi snapping away at the Oasis guitarist and his new gal pal Sarah McDonald, who were having no luck hailing a cab. Stewart asked one of the photogs she recognized, Alex Heining of Big Pictures USA, what the hubbub was about. The intrepid snapper told Martha how the couple was stranded. "Well, if they need a ride, they can get in with me," Stewart said. Heining alerted Gallagher and his gal, and the couple drove off into the sunset with Stewart. (NY Post)
***Maybe Martha gave Noel some decorating tips for his new
place! This is TOO funny! Noel Gallagher and Martha Stewart! LOL!***

Oct.20-Noel's Tot A Double
THE screwed-up face, the sultry stare...this baby can only belong to one man - Noel Gallagher.
The Oasis star's estranged wife Meg Mathews showed off nine-month-old Anais at Heathrow airport yesterday.
Mum and daughter - kitted out in an outrageous pink outfit -were flying to Los Angeles for a sunshine hol.
Meanwhile Noel and new love Sara MacDonald jetted off just hours later for a romantic break in New York. (The Sun)

Meg and Anais leave Heathrow

Oct.20-Anais To See You...Even If Meg Did Put You In Those Silly Ears
MEG Mathews proudly showed off daughter Anais in public for the first time yesterday...complete with a pair of pink fluffy ears.
The eight month old was the centre of attention as she left Heathrow with mum.
Meg, famed for offbeat outfits, dressed Noel Gallagher's little girl in a shocking pink silk dress.
Mum and daughter flew to Los Angeles to holiday with friends.
Meg had just returned from Paris, where she partied with pals like British designer Alexander McQueen. Anais was looked after by Oasis star Noel.
Last month the Mirror revealed that the couple had decided to go their separate ways after three years of marriage.
Noel, 33, was sick of London and fed up with the celebrity parties attended by the same faces.
But Meg loved the social circuit and missed her friends. It was a recipe for disaster.
The couple sold their pounds 2.5million home in London's Belsize Park and moved to their mansion near Chalfont St Giles, Bucks.
Then Noel moved into a hotel with brother Liam, who had just split from wife Patsy Kensit.
Noel is now dating PR girl Sara MacDonald, 29.
Yesterday they jetted off to a New York awards ceremony. (The Mirror)

Oct.18-Noel Remembers The Death of John Lennon
I was in my front room in Manchester listening to a football match, and they interrupted it to say that John Lennon had been assassinated. It was like, "Fuck" - it was just silence, really. Especially for my mum; she was a teenager in the Sixties and into the Beatles. Lennon dying had a more profound effect on her than on me, because at the time I was thirteen.
I didn't know what it meant until I dissected the White Album. And then I thought, "Fuck, this guy is not even around anymore." [Lennon's legacy is] absolutely, 100 percent his music. I'm not really interested in his politics or his bandwagon-jumping toward the end of his life. His music is just completely timeless and unsurpassable. If it wasn't for John Lennon, I think that Paul McCartney would have had the Beatles writing "Yesterday" right up until the day that they split up.
If you ask any cutting-edge musicians in London, like the Chemical Brothers or Prodigy - if you trace all that music backward - it all stops at "Tomorrow Never Knows." It was in 1966 when Lennon wrote that song. If you think back to all the other songs that were around, it was still all, "You love me/I love you/Whoopie-doo." Lennon wanted to sound like a thousand monks chanting on top of a hill. He's probably still twenty years ahead of his time even though he's been dead twenty years. (Rolling Stone.com)

Oct.18-Lennon's Piano Bought By George Michael
In an act of grandiose Rock 'n' Roll worship, GEORGE MICHAEL has paid pounds 1.45million for the Steinway piano once owned by JOHN LENNON.
The piano, upon which Lennon wrote 'Imagine' was a lot in an auction held on Mick Fleetwood's new internet auction venture. George Michael outbid other stars of the pop world, such as Robbie Williams and Oasis' Lennon-worshipping Gallagher brothers, in order to purchase the piano.
The former Wham star's purchase has pleased Mick Fleetwood who said he had always hoped the piano would remain British.
Other items sold included Lennon's Ferrari which went for pounds 110,000 and a pair of glasses which fetched pounds 16,000. (Music365)

Oct.18-Where Now For Oasis?
Radio One DJ Steve Lamacq, who is celebrating ten years of the acclaimed Evening Session show, has spoken exclusively to dotmusic about the future of Oasis.
Lamacq was talking to us after the release of the book 'Going Deaf For A Living', which chronicles his chequered career as a music writer and DJ.
Speaking in the interview about Oasis, Lamacq said he didn't think the band could ever reclaim the success of the mid-nineties, when the Gallagher brothers straddled the rock world with impressive ease.
However, Lamacq said he thought the band still had a bright future if Noel and Liam can gel, not only together, but collectively as a band.
He explained: "I don't think they will ever get back to where they once where. But they could still make a great record.
"Commercially, I don't think they will ever go back but I don't think that matters. It's kind of a Blur situation. They've made records that haven't sold as well as 'Parklife' did, but there's no reason why they shouldn't be great records."
Lamacq explained where he felt the band where at these days, following a summer of high-profile bust-ups on their World Tour, and the release of the album 'Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants', which inspired a rather underwhelming reaction.
'I think they're confused. Noel's age is a problem. I know I went through a crisis a few years ago about music and what it meant to me. He's just over 30 and Liam's under that bracket and I think that's where the friction comes from. Noel wants to settle and Liam is always still up for having it.
"Musically, I think he will now more now about what he wants to do than before. It's very telling that they're doing Neil Young covers these days. This is where the new blood comes in and the inspiration of the new band will help." (dotmusic)

Sara McDonald

Oct.18-My Love For Noel
NOEL GALLAGHER'S new love has broken her silence about their relationship, telling me: "He's a very special man."
Sara MacDonald confirmed she helped mend the Oasis star's broken heart after his split from wife Meg Mathews.
It is the first time the sexy blonde Scot has spoken about her love for the millionaire songwriter.
Sara, 29, opened up to me at the launch of this year's Q Magazine Awards at London's Sound Republic.
She said: "We are an item. Noel has had a hard year and it's been difficult for him but we're getting on very well and he seems happier.
"There have been problems with the band and obviously his marriage but I think I've helped him.
"People think of Noel as this strict sergeant-major type but he's a lovely man. I think he's bossier when he's with the band but he's gentle and caring with me.
"It's weird to think I'm going out with Noel Gallagher but he's just a normal guy to me." Sara became Noel's shoulder to cry on after his marriage to Meg ended in the summer.
As I revealed last week, Noel has just splashed out pounds 850,000 on a mews house in London's Mayfair. Sara lives just down the road in Bayswater.
She said: "We've known each other for a while as friends but got together a few months ago.
"I was working in Ibiza at the club Manumission and there was a mutual attraction. It is obviously early days and we've tried to keep a low profile but our relationship is very deep. He's a great person to be around."
Sara says the couple are planning to step out publicly for the first time at the Q Awards lunch on October 31. The bash is being sponsored by phone giant Orange, whose public relations are handled by Sara.
She added: "We keep thinking, oh, let's go out publicly and be photographed together. I was going to drag him along tonight but he's in the studio working on stuff.
"Now we're going to wait until the Q Awards which should be a lot of fun. It will be a real coming out." (The Sun)

Oct.18-Now Meg's Ex-Rated
Noel and Sara Shun 'M' Word
THE girl who's put the smile back on Noel Gallagher's face has one tip for trouble-free romance - don't mention the ex.
Talking for the first time of her relationship with the Oasis star, publicist Sara Macdonald said they never mention the "M-word" - Noel's soon-to-be divorced wife Meg Mathews, the mother of his eight-month-old daughter Anais.
Sara - who has been dating the guitarist for the past few weeks - said: "We don't talk about Meg when we're together.
"Just like any other couple wouldn't talk about people they've been out with in the past. I don't talk about my exes, so why should he? When anything appears in the papers about her, Noel's like: 'Yeah, whatever'. That is nothing to do with our relationship."
And Sara can't wait to be pictured with Noel by the paparazzi.
"We go out all ready to get snapped by photographers, with me looking my best, but it never happens," she told Eva.
"We don't care who sees us because we've got nothing to hide.
"We're definitely together as a couple and that's all there is to it."
Sara, 29, met Noel in Ibiza this summer, and the star turned to her when he realised he could no longer make a go of things with Meg.
"Things are really great between us. I couldn't be happier with him," said Sara.
"We certainly aren't living together - it's still a bit too early.
"But we love doing everyday things like going out for a quiet meal or catching a movie. We are just having a great time being together."
Their first big public outing will be a double date with Noel's bad-boy brother Liam and his girlfriend, All Saint Nicole Appleton, at next week's Q Awards ceremony. (The Mirror)

Oct.18-Noel's New Girl Speaks
NOEL GALLAGHER'S new girlfriend has spoken for the first time about their romance, revealing that they never talk about the Oasis star's estranged wife, Meg Mathews.
Gorgeous Sara Macdonald met the guitarist on the party island of Ibiza this summer, but only became close after he split from Meg.
Speaking exclusively to AAA, Sara said: "Her name is never mentioned."
She and Noel have now been dating for just over a month - and Sara insists that nothing happened before the collapse of Noel's marriage.
PR executive Sara, 29, said: "Things are really great at the moment. We are definitely together, if you know what I mean.
"We are taking things very slowly. He has his own place and I have mine, so we're not living together or anything like that. We do things that every normal couple do, like going out for dinner and going to the cinema."
Sara rubbished reports that they had known each other for a year, insisting that they met for the first time in the summer.
She added: "We met in Ibiza a few months ago and just kept in contact. I saw Noel and Meg around, because they have a place out there and I was working on the island. We just got to know each other."
Scot Sara says there's one topic they steer well clear of these days: "We don't talk about Meg. Her name is never mentioned, just like any other couple wouldn't talk about previous relationships.
"We don't get involved in the Meg stuff."
Noel and Meg split up in September after three years together - less than eight months after the birth of their daughter, Anais.
Their marriage ended just two months after Noel's brother Liam split from Patsy Kensit.
Sara, who was educated at Edinburgh's top public school Mary Erskine's, also shed light on the feud between the Gallagher brothers.
She said: "Of course Noel and Liam speak. I think that argument is just a bit of sibling rivalry.
"I mean, I couldn't go on tour with that family - and I would not want to work with my sister every day! Liam's badboy image is unfair. I have met him and he's a really nice bloke... but Noel's nicer."
The couple are due to go on their first public date later this month at the Q Magazine Awards where Sara will be looking after her PR clients. Oasis are up for a gong in the Best Live Act category.
She said: "It will be our first proper outing as a couple and I can't wait. Noel keeps winding me up, asking whether I will be walking around with a clipboard all night.
"The whole band will be sitting together, so that should be interesting. Nicole Appleton is also coming with Liam.
"And before you ask, no - I haven't rigged the voting!" (Megastar)

Oct.15-Nicole Goes Ape Without Liam
SEXY All Saints star Nicole Appleton steps out of her jeep -wearing a trendy beanie hat with a hunky monkey face.
The 25-year-old singer donned the designer woolly headgear on a shopping trip after leaving her Oasis lover Liam Gallagher - nicknamed Monkey Man - at home in London.
A friend said: "Nicole knows Liam won't go shopping - but she likes to keep his image with her at all times..." (Sunday People) *LOL!*

Oct.15-Meg's Collaspe
Friends find Noel's ex slumped on floor
FRIENDS are again worried about the health of Noel Gallagher's estranged wife Meg Mathews after she collapsed at a party.
Hard-living Meg, who separated from the Oasis star last month when he decided he'd had enough of her wild ways, was found slumped in the catering area at a Givenchy bash during Paris Fashion Week.
Meg, 33, was in town with her gang, including Jade Jagger, Kate Moss and Sophie Dahl.
Pals say she'd been keeping a low profile for most of the week but decided to go for it on Wednesday after finding out Noel was moving back to London from their mansion in Buckinghamshire.
The girls went to the big shows before ending up at Alexander McQueen's Givenchy bash.
"Meg was very upset," one partygoer told the diary. "It looked like she'd been crying. Then there was a commotion in the kitchen and she was slumped on the floor."
When the couple split last month it was claimed they had been drifting apart for a year.
Noel wanted Meg to curb her partying and retreat to their country mansion with him and their baby daughter, Anais. The Sunday Mirror then revealed Meg was being treated for depression at the Priory clinic and it emerged that Noel was seeing a new girlfriend, PR girl Sara McDonald. "The house business really got to her," a pal said.
"Noel's reluctance to move back to London was one of the things they argued about, and now he's gone and done it. She's also finding it hard to accept he has a new girlfriend."
Last night Meg was understood to be on her way to LA for a break with her actor pals Jude Law and Sadie Frost. (Sunday Mirror)

Oct.14-Liam Was Too Blatant
PATSY Kensit has blamed Liam Gallagher for wrecking their marriage by flaunting his flings with other women.
Patsy, speaking for the first time since their divorce, told of her anger at being publicly humiliated.
She said she wished the Oasis star had at least been less open about it.
The actress changed the locks on their home the day after Liam spent six hours with American hat designer Ivy Silberstein in his suite at New York's Trump Tower Hotel.
Although Liam said he wanted to save the four-year marriage, it was the final straw for Patsy, who once smashed his car after he went for late-night drinks with supermodel Kate Moss.
She explained: "Constantly hearing reports about the person you love being unfaithful gets too much.
"I was in that permanent state of not knowing what was really going on and choosing to believe it couldn't be true."
And she added: "A little bit of discretion would have been nice. It has been really heart-breaking."
After Silberstein, nicknamed Supersonic, emerged from Liam's room, she claimed she had been measuring him for hats. But two weeks later, she put the boot into Patsy by saying Liam called her constantly to tell her how much he missed her.
Silberstein was soon proved right when the couple divorced and depressed Patsy checked into the Priory Clinic - but she stayed only two hours. Patsy, 32, then decided she would be better off thinking things over alone in her favourite London hotel The Halcyon.
She said: "I spent five days on my own there, and that's when I started to get better. I had been through a really dark time when I didn't know if our marriage would survive. But right now all I've got time for in my life is my boys and work."
Three-times-married Patsy has two sons, James, eight, from her marriage to Simple Minds singer Jim Kerr, and one-year-old Lennon, whose dad is Liam.
She says that after splitting from Liam she became "very close" to long-time friend Jamie Foreman, the actor son of East End gangster Freddie Foreman.
But she added that now they were staying just good friends. She said: "I'm no use to anyone as a girlfriend right now. This is probably the first time in my life I actually feel like I don't need anyone. I'm certainly not interested in another relationship and I'm not marrying again.
"I can look back on the decisions I made - putting love before work - and I wouldn't let that happen again."
Despite her past anger towards Liam, she now wishes him luck with his new girlfriend Nicole Appleton from the All Saints.
Patsy, in her interview with OK! magazine, said: "I'm really happy for him. I'd say it's in the children's best interest that he's in a positive relationship.
"I have to form a good relationship with Liam, not as my partner any more, but as Lennon's father."(Megastar)

(nme.com)

Oct.13-DV'D'You Know What I Mean?
OASIS' live DVD 'FAMILIAR TO MILLIONS' was premiered this afternoon (October 13) in a west LONDON cinema.
However, rumours that Noel Gallagher was going to put in an appearance at the Everyman Cinema in Hampstead proved unfounded.
The disc, which is built around the first of the band's two semi-legendary shows at Wembley Stadium earlier this summer (July 21), features several sections not available on the forthcoming VHS version of the concert.
Aside from a 45-minute documentary shot by Radiohead associate Grant Gee, the 'Familiar To Millions' director Dick Carruthers revealed that brief clips from the more incendiary performance on July 22 - that saw the Gallagher brothers almost come to blows onstage - have been included on the disc.
When users flick between any features on the DVD, whether it be focusing on individual live tracks or the complete discography with audio clips, one of 30 random snippets from the second night's show will play.
The 'Familiar To Millions' DVD, VHS and album will be released through Big Brother on November 13. (nme.com)

Noel's new London digs

Oct.13-Noel Goes Solo In Pounds 850 Mews House
NOEL GALLAGHER has copied brother Liam and got himself a luxury bachelor pad.
He is moving from his country mansion to a pounds 850,000 London mews to be closer to his nine-month-old daughter Anais.
The tot lives with Noel's estranged wife Meg Mathews in Notting Hill, West London. The fact that Noel wants his own base in the capital shows there is little hope of him getting back with Meg.
He paid the full asking price in cash a week after viewing the three-storey house in Marylebone, near Regent's Park.
A pal said: "It's exactly what Noel needed. He wanted a London base near a park so he could take Anais out.
"Meg lives in London now so he needed to be close by."
The Oasis star was keen to keep the move under wraps. He swore pals to secrecy and made the previous owners sign a confidentiality agreement.
Last week we revealed how Liam had moved into a posh rented apartment in Hampstead, North London, after his divorce from Patsy Kensit.
Noel's four-bedroom mews house has a roof terrace garden, cloakroom, reception room, and a large dining room.
The estate agent's brochure describes the house as: "An appealing mews house close to shopping facilities and open spaces of Regent's Park."
Noel's new pad is also just a stone's throw from the house Paul McCartney lived in with Jane Asher in the Sixties, adding to the property's appeal for the Beatles' fan.
The move back to London marks a change in attitude for Noel, who last year told how he was sick of the drug-fuelled excesses of the capital.
He sold Supernova Heights, the family's pounds 2.5million home in Belsize Park and moved to an imposing pile near Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire.
But the country lifestyle was thought to have brought marriage tensions to the surface. The future of that house is unsure. (The Sun)

Oct.12-Noel To Join The Who For Charity Show
The Who, Paul Weller and Noel Gallagher are to perform at a special concert at the Royal Albert Hall to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The Who have specially added the November 27 date as part of their UK tour.
Simon Davies, chief executive of the TCT, told Ananova: "It's fantastic, we're really pleased. The Who contacted the other artists who are taking part in the concert and we are very pleased they all said yes."
The Teenage Cancer Trust builds hospital units specially designed for teenagers. The money raised by the concert will go towards units planned for Sheffield and Liverpool.
Tickets for the November 23 concert go on sale tomorrow.

Oct.11-Oasis Fans Warned of Noel No-Show
Tailgunner has warned Oasis fans not to turn up to their gigs expecting to see Noel Gallagher on stage.
The Mancunian plays drums on Tailgunner's debut album, due out on October 16.
But Tailgunner's singer and guitarist Mark Coyle stresses Noel is not part of the live Tailgunner line-up.
Mark is an old friend of Noel's and produced Oasis's first album Definitely Maybe. Tailgunner is setting off on a 19-date UK tour at the Louisiana in Bristol.
"On the last tour there were a couple of people who did come sort of expecting him to be there," Mark told Ananova.
"I was a bit shocked. I have spent the last month and a half saying he's not in the group, honest. There are a few stragglers who still think he's going to turn up and he's going to be on stage. Nothing could be further from the truth." (Yahoo UK/Ananova)

Oct.9-Oasis' Noel Gallagher Not Sure About New Beatles Book
Beatlemaniacs might be grabbing for copies of The Beatles Anthology, the new book about the Fab Four, but Oasis's Noel Gallagher has reservations about it. The guitarist and massive Beatles fan says that there is a fundamental problem with the book.
"How can you write a book if John Lennon can't write his own bit on it?," he asks. "It seems a bit weird to me. But, you know, I'll buy it, as long as the photographs are good. But I don't think it's gonna shed any new light on the story. I think the story's been well documented. If anyone wants to know anything about the growth of the Beatles, just buy the Anthology CDs, really."
Gallagher adds, "I hope someone buys it for me. Doubtless I'll get about 50 copies for Christmas."
Compiled by longtime Beatles aide Neil Aspinall (who now runs the group's Apple Corps Ltd. operation) and the group's late press agent Derek Taylor, Anthology collects the interviews done with Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr for the 1995 TV documentary and home-video set, and also adds material that wasn't part of the broadcasts. John Lennon is represented via quotes culled from various interviews. (Launch.com)

Liam has Nicole round to his new flat

Oct.9-Liam's Bachelor Pad
Liam Gallagher showed girlfriend Nicole Appleton his new bachelor pad yesterday.
The Oasis singer began renting the pounds 3million flat last week after his divorce from Patsy Kensit.
It is the first time Liam has lived alone in his own place.
He went straight from living with mum Peggy to staying in a string of hotels as Oasis found fame. His first real home after Mum's was when he moved in with actress Patsy.
Now, at 28, he has obviously decided he is old enough to live on his own.
Liam's new flat in north London's posh Hampstead Heath is one of a block of four.
It has six bedrooms and a huge basement party room.
And if he feels lonely, he can always ask Nicole round - she lives nearby. (The Sun)

Patsy Kensit

Oct.9-Patsy: I'm So Lonely
WHILE Liam was showing off his flat to his new bird, ex Patsy was admitting she is lonely without him and has not had sex since they split.
Speaking for the first time about their break-up, Patsy said: "For me, Liam was the complete and utter epitome of unquestioning love, devotion and desire. I thought he was beautiful.
"Now I'm terribly lonely and a real Billy No-Mates at the moment."
And she DENIED that she had had a fling with actor Jamie Foreman - despite being seen together regularly at parties and film premieres. Patsy claimed Jamie was a shoulder to cry on and said she had not shared her bed for months.
She added: "Jamie is the most wonderful guy but I don't need another man. I can't possibly be in a relationship right now.
"I would have done in the past but I've learned nothing if I just do it again. I married my boyfriends in the past because they asked me to. What I'm really enjoying right now is the uncertainty."
Patsy, who has a son Lennon by the Oasis singer, also denied rumours that Liam's hellraising was to blame for their break-up, saying she could be just as wild herself.
The actress, currently filming the movie Bad Karma in Galway, Ireland, explained: "The first week Liam moved in with me he went out one night and returned to this hotel with a supermodel.
"I found out, went round and booted his car and everything.
"I'm a feisty cow, you know, I really am. I can hold my own." (The Sun)

Oct.9-Start of The Piers Show?
LOOKS like Meg Mathews is getting over her split from Noel Gallagher with a little help from nightclub boss Piers Adams.
The couple enjoyed an intimate meal at swanky London restaurant San Lorenzo.
Pals say the pair have been close since Meg started up her party-organising company 2active, but have grown closer still since the break-down of her marriage last month.
Dressed in a tight, gold, roll-neck top and denim skirt - and minus a wedding ring - Meg hardly seemed to have a care in the world as she sashayed into the Knightsbridge eaterie on Saturday night, hanging off the arm of Piers, who owns |the K Bar and Kabaret Club. An onlooker says: "They didn't seem to bother who saw them - it was almost as if they wanted to be seen. They were certainly very lovey-dovey over dinner, whispering into each other's ears and holding hands. It was very cosy."
The pair left together and jumped in a waiting limo where they were again spotted holding hands.
Noel has also sought solace. Just two weeks ago, it emerged that he was dating public relations girl Sara McDonald. (The Mirror)

Oct.5-Oasis Vs. The Beatles
OASIS are taking on their heroes The Beatles in a head-to-head clash to be top Christmas album.
The megabands will launch CDs on the same day next month in their battle to be the biggest stocking fillers of the festive season.
Noel and Liam Gallagher will launch their live double album, Familiar To Millions.
Beatles One also hits the shelves on November 13.
The Oasis release includes the entire set from the first of two sold-out Wembley gigs from this year's Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants tour.
Thousands of Oasis fans are expected to snap up the collection of classics which includes Wonderwall, Cigarettes And Alcohol, Don't Look Back In Anger, Stand By Me and Who Feels Love? The Fab Four's release Beatles One will be a bumper package of all their No1 singles.
Ironically, a major selling point of the vinyl version of Familiar To Millions will be a live Oasis version of the Beatles' track Helter Skelter, performed in Michigan.
The song will not feature on Beatles One because it was only a B-side for Got To Get You Into My Life.
But Beatles One will be a real treat for their fans.
It contains every No1 John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr put out going back to From Me To You in 1963 to The Ballad Of John And Yoko in 1969. The collection also features A Hard Day's Night, All You Need Is Love and Hey Jude.
I'm taking no bets on who's going to come out winner on this one so, I'll let you judge for yourselves - here's my tale of the tape.
TALE OF THE TAPE
THE BEATLES
SALES: Estimated 1 billion records.
NO1 SINGLES: 17, more than any other band in this country.
PROMOTION: John isn't around to help Paul, George and Ringo plug the album but Liam and Noel will no doubt do that for them anyway.
HAIRCUTS: Had the original mop top 30 years before the Gallaghers told their barber: "A Beatles cut please."
FIGHTING CREDENTIALS: Famously pacifist and Paul and George are getting on a bit now. Ringo is still handy with drumsticks. All three are veterans at fighting off screaming girls.
ALBUM WEAKNESSES AND STRENGTHS: Who wouldn't love a Beatles album in their stocking? But then again, who doesn't already own most of their stuff?
OASIS
SALES: 20 million records.
NO1 SINGLES: Only five, despite penning the anthems of this generation.
PROMOTION: Never out of the newspapers with their hellraising so coverage guaranteed. Although if you ask Liam about the new album he will probably say: "It's f****** s***e."
HAIRCUTS: Mop tops on Definitely Maybe to Liam's 1970s Lennon cut.
FIGHTING CREDENTIALS: Talk a good game but Liam was exposed as a bit of a yellow belly when he backed out of a fight with Robbie Williams.
ALBUM STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES: I was at the Wembley gig and it was great but Liam's four-letter outbursts may discourage Santa from giving it to the kids. (The Sun)

Oct.5-Are Oasis Bigger Than The Beatles?
Having sparred with Blur at the height of Britpop, and in more recent days taken on the flock of boy and girl bands, Oasis are now facing up to a head-to-head challenge with their idols The Beatles.
The battle for a Christmas number one album commences next month when Oasis release their live double album, 'Familiar To Millions' on the same day as the issue of 'Beatles One' -a package of all The Beatles number one singles.
The Gallagher's album will include the entire set of their two Wembley gigs from earlier this year, with the vinyl version ironically featuring a US live recording of 'Helter Skelter' by The Beatles. (dotmusic)

John Lennon

Oct.3-John Lennon's Killer Denied Parole
ATTICA, N.Y. (AP) - The man who gunned down John Lennon 20 years ago lost his first bid for parole Tuesday after the ex-Beatle's widow wrote that setting him free would "bring back the nightmare, the chaos and confusion once again."
Mark David Chapman was interviewed for 50 minutes by three parole board members during a closed hearing at Attica prison. Four hours later, he was given a one-page determination that began: "Parole is denied."
"Your most vicious and violent act was apparently fueled by your need to be acknowledged," the board said. "During your parole hearing, this panel noted your continued interest in maintaining your notoriety."
Chapman, 45, is serving 20 years to life at the maximum-security prison in upstate New York. He pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in 1981 for fatally shooting Lennon as the rock star and his wife, Yoko Ono, were entering their Manhattan apartment building following a recording session on Dec. 8, 1980.
After Tuesday's decision, Ono spokesman Eliot Mintz released a letter the widow wrote to the parole board in which she described the pain of losing Lennon and how Chapman's release would unravel her life.
"I am afraid it will bring back the nightmare, the chaos and confusion once again. Myself and John's two sons, would not feel safe for the rest of our lives," Ono wrote.
She also said Chapman might face retribution from angry fans.
"They would feel that it is unfair that the 'subject' is rewarded with a normal life while John lost his," she wrote. "Violence begets violence. If it is at all possible, I would like us to not create a situation which may bring further madness and tragedy to the world."
A transcript of Tuesday's interview with Chapman by the board is expected to be made available later this week.
But in its statement, the board called the killing "calculated and unprovoked." In addition to being one of the world's most famous musicians, the board said, Lennon was a "husband and a father of two young children."
Chapman recently said he believed that Lennon would have approved of his release. But the board concluded that releasing Chapman now would "deprecate the seriousness of the crime and serve to undermine respect for the law."
The parole board noted that Chapman has an "exemplary disciplinary record" in prison. But it said he has been unable to seek "anti-violence and/or anti-aggression programming" because he is in special custody.
Parole board hearings with inmates are closed to the public. The Associated Press and 85 other media organizations filed Freedom of Information Law requests to get the board's determination.
Robert Gangi of the state Correctional Association, a prisoner advocacy group, speculated that parole for Chapman is unlikely even years from now.
"As long as that crime is in the collective memory, he has no chance for parole," he said. (AP/Yahoo)
~WEBMASTER-This is here 'cos I know that many of you Oasis fans out there have been following this closely. Frankly, there aren't words to describe what a piece of scum this guy is and I agree wholeheartedly with Liam-he should've gotten the death penalty. If he ever gets out, I'm sure someone will gladly take care of that~

Oct.2-Oasis To Make Roskilde Donation?
Oasis and the Pet Shop Boys are reported to be on the verge of making sizeable donations to the benefit fund established after the Roskilde Festival tragedy.
The bands, who both pulled-out of the event after the deaths of nine people during Pearl Jam's set, are said to be considering giving part of their appearance fees to the foundation.
The Roskilde 2000 Tragedy Fund is to support research in safety and crowd management at large youth events, especially within the area of music.
Festival boss Leif Skov is hopeful that Oasis and the Pet Shop Boys' fees will help launch the foundation, after neither act was paid following their decision to pull-out.
Skov explained: "It's all very positive. All we need to sort out at this stage is the exact amount from each band - if it's to be the whole fee or part of it."
Skov adds that the foundation will not, as previously thought, benefit the victims' families. "They were all single and had no one to support, so we've opted to look ahead and focus on the safety of young people," he said.
A permanent memorial on the festival site is also planned.
